 Intel Boxed Celeron D questionable use December 11, 2008
Seller DealStop sent a "bulk purchased in a tray" Celeron D processor, suspected as used, not new:
1 - cpu scratched on top with grease wiped off, indicating previous installation,
2 - not in original mfg box or blister pack,
3 - mailer box appeared tampered,
4 - no packing slip included.
CPU installed and working now, but usable life of product unknown.

THESE PROCESSORS ARE A GOOD CHOICE IF YOUR NEED A BUDGET CPU FOR A SOCKET 478 BUILD
ALOT OF PEOPLE KNOCK THE CELERON CPU'S AND GRANTED THEY DON'T PERFORM AS WELL AS THE PENTIUM P4 GENERALLY DUE TO THE SMALLER L2 CACHE SIZE BUT GIVEN THE PRICE THEY ARE HARD TO BEAT AND THESE WILL OVERCLOCK VERY WELL I HAVE HAD ONE RUNNING AT 3.06 GHZ STABLE JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AMPLE COOLING THEY DO RUN HOT
