| Features:
| | The Universal Pop-Up Shade is designed to fit hundreds of cameras, both new and old. | | | Like the DSLR Mini, the Universal shade attaches to your camera by a non-residue adhesive. | | | The adhesive does not damage the camera when the shade is removed, nor does it leave behind any film. | | | An optically clear plastic protects your camera's screen, and the simple pop-up design allows for easy opening to block the glare. | | | The two-part design enables easy removal of the shade while keeping the clear plastic in place for protection. |

| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Pop-Up Shades are LCD screen protective covers, which double as glare guards. These sturdy, lightweight covers are easily installed (and removed), protect a digital camera's expensive LCD screen in the closed position, and pop up to provide easier viewing of the display in bright sunlight. The cover easily pops up to form a little three sided canopy over the LCD to diminish glare, and folds right back down when you're finished. A camera grade, optically clear glass (itself protected with a clear protective film cover to prevent shipping scratches) continues to guard the LCD screen when the shade is up. Snap on covers literally hook onto the grooves in your camera, and stick ons are easy to apply and remove, and feature a no residue adhesive to keep the camera finish smooth and clean.

Great idea, lousy quality November 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved the concept for this; a pop up screen for my digital camera. Next thing best to a viewfinder, right?
Uh, right...so, against all the reviews who said there were major flaws, I bought this.
I had this on my camera for *two* days before it broke.
The adhesive is crummy, the sides are flimsy, the whole product is nothing less than shoddy. It's a shame, because it's such a good idea. I hope that Delkin can improve the quality if they make another version.
Delkin Devices DU2.5-M BLK Universal Pop-Up Shade October 7, 2008 A very good and useful product i use 2-3 of these on my equipment and am very satisfied with them they also protect the lcd from dirt and dust plus when closed i dont get nose smears on the lcd when looking through the viewfinder on my DSLR cameras....
Great screen shade. July 9, 2008 I picked this up for $9.97 at a local Big Box brick & mortar, and have been pleased with it since I mounted it on my camera (Panasonic's DMC FZ18).
It attached cleanly and fit perfectly to the screen (sits on top of outer edge, but all "video" part of the screen is exposed through the center).
As a screen protector, it's perfect. As a screen shade, most of the time it does a great job (there are just some angles you want a picture from that the shade won't do it's job of course). On those angles where you wind up exposing the screen to sun and can't use the shade because of the angle, just use the viewfinder.
Also, for that "quick shot", the screen guard opens quickly and easily, everytime.
Highly recommended.
Delkin - eFilm Pop-Up Shade August 23, 2007 I bought this for my black Pentax Optio A30 and design-wise it appears to be an integrated part of the camera. Functionally it does what it is designed to do - allow better visibility of the LCD in bright sunlight. Attachment to the camera was easy and overall I am well satisfied with my purchase.
A Piece of Junk! July 30, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A week after I bought it one of the PLASTIC hinges broke. I can't belive they would manufacture this with plastic hinges! Don't waste your money.
